The entry system is now in place for the first Cadet (U17) and Junior (U20) events of the year, to be held on 11, 12 and 19 February, see the Calendar page for details.
For the first weekend’s events, entries will close later than usual: normal entries close 10 PM Tuesday 7 February and late entries 10 PM Thursday 9 February. Subsequent event entries will close on Sunday and Wednesday as usual.

The FencingWA Competition Rules have been updated and can be found in the Documents section. A significant change has been made to the event procedure in terms of check-in and start times:
It is the responsibility of fencers to allow time to arrive at the competition venue well before the advertised start time. From ten minutes prior to the advertised start time, fencers may present themselves to the DT or assistant for check-in. Please note that there have been some changes to the Under 13 and Under 15 Foil and Sabre Finals, to be held on 22 and 23 October 2016. The events are now to be held at Excalibur and the timetable is as follows:
Please note that all FencingWA events require the use of full safety equipment including breeches and long socks. Electrical equipment is also required, and size 2 foils are required for Under 13 Foil. Excalibur will have some size 2 electric foils available for loan on the day.
